Free Kick overlays for OBS
Layrs makes free Kick overlays that react to your stream: chat, alerts, goals and a subathon timer. Sign in with Kick, make a source, and paste its link into OBS as a Browser source. Stream on Twitch too? The same overlay shows both.

The Layrs chat bot works in Kick chat too: commands, timers, spam filters, points, giveaways and polls by typing a number. Mod it in your Kick chat (the Chat bot page shows the /mod line to copy) so it can answer and remove spam. Your Kick mods can change the overlay from chat with ; commands like ;deaths 23.
Not on Kick: 7TV name paints and hype trains are Twitch only, and Kick’s API has no raid event, so in Layrs raid alerts are Twitch only.
Make a Kick overlay
Sign in with Kick
Sign in to Layrs with Kick. Already in with Twitch? Click your name at the bottom left, pick Settings and click Connect Kick under Connected platforms.
Make a source
Click New source (on a new account: Browse all sources on Home) and pick one: Alerts, Chat (clean), Sub goal, Subathon timer and more.
Copy the link
In the strip under the preview, click Copy URL.
Add it to OBS
In OBS, click + under Sources, pick Browser, paste the link into URL and set the width and height Layrs shows.
Want a whole layout in one link? Click New scene instead (on a new account: Start from a scene template on Home), pick a scene like Starting Soon or Subathon, click Use template, then Add to OBS at the top. A free starting soon screen.

Sources: KickBot and its alerts page, OWN3D’s Kick shop, OWN3D Pro and its pricing. All three react to Kick events as they happen. Layrs has no paid tier, and its overlays need no bot as a mod; OWN3D is the one with ready-made designs to buy.
Streaming on Twitch and Kick at once
Link both, and every overlay counts both: one alert box, one goal, one subathon clock. Twitch’s Terms don’t allow merging other platforms’ chat or activity into your Twitch stream while you simulcast, though. What the rule says and what to switch off.

How do I add an overlay to Kick?
Kick shows what OBS sends. Make the overlay in Layrs, copy its link and add it to OBS as a Browser source.
Are these Kick overlays free?
Yes. Every built-in Layrs overlay is free, with no watermark.
Do I need a bot like BotRix for Kick alerts?
No. Layrs gets your Kick events from Kick’s own API after you sign in with Kick, so no bot has to be a mod in your chat.
Do 7TV emotes show in Kick chat?
Yes, 7TV emotes do. 7TV name paints are Twitch only.
Can one overlay show Twitch and Kick?
Yes, once you link both. While you simulcast, check Twitch’s rule on merging other platforms first.
